Ashley Kenneth Allen grew up in Madison, SD and has lived there most of his life. He is proud to call Madison his home. His family currently resides on North Maplewood Drive near Totland Park and have owned their home in Madison for almost 10 years. His children attend the Madison Central School District.
Ashley Kenneth Allen graduated and received his High School Diploma from Madison High School. Allen is also a Dakota State University graduate, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Computer Education and Computer Networking. He is CompTIA A+ Certified and also a “Highly Qualified” Teacher (according to the government). Allen is Epic ADT/Prelude/Identity/TED certified. He is currently employed as the Principal Systems Analyst in the Epic Patient Access department in the Information Systems group at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Allen has extensive experience in supporting and developing for Epic Systems, an electronic health record system. He has been a featured presenter at the National Epic Users Group Meeting in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Allen is able to work remotely using computer and internet technology and currently works from his home office 85% of the time.
Ashley Kenneth Allen worked at Dakota State University as a Technology Fellow from 2005-2006. He worked as a Technology Education & Training Specialist from 2006-2007 at Sanford Health and worked as an Epic Application Support Specialist in the Information Technology department at Sanford Health from 2007-2010. He was employed by Vitalize Consulting Services, Inc. as an Epic Software Consultant from 2010-2011.
Ashley Kenneth Allen spends his days with his wife and three daughters living in Madison, South Dakota. He enjoys spending time outdoors enjoying the beauty of South Dakota and experiencing the weather of all four seasons. His family is involved in many activities in the area. The Allen 5 family cheers for the Madison Bulldogs, Dakota State Trojans, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Minnesota Twins.
